MANILA – Jerrick Ahanmisi showed his mastery from the four-point line as Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots dominated Terrafirma Dyip, 124-103, in the PBA Governors’ Cup last night at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.

The former Adamson University Falcons gunner finished with a career-high of 24 points, including four four-point shots and two three-point shots, to go with two rebounds and two steals to lead the Hotshots.

“I think my efficiency (from the four-point line) comes from my practice everyday,” Ahanmisi said. “When I go to practice early and stayed after and try to improve my game everyday and try to gain my teammates’ trust to give me the ball every game.”

“My confidence comes from my coaches and teammates, they all tell me to keep shooting even if I miss. I think my confidence comes from my work and my teammates,” he added.
