Singer Angeline Quinto on Monday filed a police report at the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group at Camp Crame in Quezon City.
According to ABS-CBN News reporter Maan Macapagal, the report was filed after Quinto received threats in social media in the wake of accusations that she supposedly mocked Sarah Geronimo’s recent emotional breakdown during her concert in Las Vegas.
Quinto included in the report the usernames of the online bashers who allegedly threatened her.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News last week, Quinto cried after bashers wrote malicious comments online targeting her family.
Quinto denied she mocked Geronimo and challenged her accusers to show evidence.
She also revealed that Geronimo, upon learning of the accusations, has reached out to her to apologize. (ABS-CBN News)
