ILOILO City – An 11-year-old boy drowned in a river in Barangay Abangay, Dingle, Iloilo.
The victim who was only identified as a certain “Faizal” was swimming together with his friends in Suage River in the said village when the incident happened around 2:15 p.m. on April 3.
Residents fished out the Faizal’s body from the river several minutes later.
The boy was rushed to the Iloilo Provincial Hospital in Pototan, Iloilo where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”/PN
