HEART Evangelista is giving away free tablets to enable some Filipino students to study online while schools remain closed.
The actress made the announcement this Thursday, asking her fans to message her on Instagram if they want to avail of the gadget.
“I heard having a tablet or computer is a requirement for online classes so I will do the best I can. I’m sorry I can’t help everyone but I will try to help as much as I can,” the actress said in a post.
Evangelista cited concerns from poorer families that their children might not have access to education, as schools shift to online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.(ABS-CBN)
