Hashtags member Jameson Blake admits he has turned down one project in the past.

PEP.ph had the chance to interview the ABS-CBN actor during the premiere of “So Connected,” his movie with Janella Salvador.

Jameson got his showbiz break when he joined Pinoy Big Brother 737 in 2015 as “Ang Responsible Son ng Pampanga.”

He became a member of the all-male group of “It’s Showtime” called Hashtags.

In 2016, became known for his daring scenes in “2 Cool 2 Be Forgotten” where he shot a masturbation scene and an intimate scene with another guy.

This role earned for him his first acting award as Best Supporting Actor in that year’s Cinema One Originals Film Festival.

When he won an acting award, did he become more picky in choosing roles?

“After a while after I got my award, I started to think that I would choose my roles. I declined one role.

Hindi pa siya lumabas. Indie film siya. Hindi naman ako sobrang choosy.”

When PEP asked why he declined the role, he explained that the movie was a musical.

Is he still willing to accept provocative roles in the future?

Depende. First movie ko kasi yun and parang nabigla yung mga tao na, ‘grabe, may ganun agad?’

Ngayon, I don’t know if that’s gonna happen. I’ll think about it.”

Would he agree to do love scenes in the future?

“It’s up to management if they want to. Ako, I’m willing to expand and step out of my comfort zone. Maybe someday I’ll do it.” (Pep.ph)
