ILOILO City – A laborer was found dead in an irrigation canal in Barangay Iglanot, Sibalom, Antique.
The 30-year-old Danny Calanog’s lifeless body was discovered by his friend Pedro Pangalawan around 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
Pangalawan told the police he and Calanog had a drink earlier that day.
Calanog may have accidentally fallen into the canal and drowned, police said./PN
