KALIBO, Aklan – A motorist was killed in a road accident in Barangay Rizal, Nabas, Aklan.
Marlon Martinez of Barangay Camanci Norte, Numancia, Aklan sustained head and body injuries, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, the incident happened morning of Aug. 24.
Martinez was navigating the road when his motorcycle clashed against a multicab driven by Alexander Caballes, 47, of Barangay Caticlan, Malay, Aklan.
It was not immediately clear what cirumstances led to the crash.
Martinez and Caballes were brought to the Malay Municipal Hospital Hospital where the attending physician declared the former “dead on arrival.”
Caballes was later transferred to a private hospital in Kalibo, Aklan./PN
