AFTER getting married more than four years ago, Patrick Garcia said he is now in full-blown parenting mode to his three daughters Michelle, Patrice and Pia.
The hands-on dad said he is trying his best to do it right. “I always spend time with them. If there’s something you can teach them even if it’s an assignment from school, which is important. Whenever you teach them something good and you see them do it to other people,” he shared during the SM Kids Day launch event at SM Southmall.
The 38-year-old actor said he is always trying to understand his children better every day. “The challenging part is that when we grow up, people change, even children change, their likes and dislikes. So whether the change is good or bad, just be very conscious of those cues in the little changes that happen. I think my secret to looking young is to always be happy. Nakakawala yun ng stress. Kaya nagmumukha pa rin akong bata sa ganun (laughs),” he said.
Patrick admitted that he and his wife are planning to have more kids in the future. Last seen in the daytime series “Playhouse”, Patrick denies he has gotten pickier when it comes to acting projects. “There are lots of offers but I’m looking for the right one. It doesn’t have to be a lead role or kahit naman na maliit na role basta gusto ko. Mas nakakagaan kasi magtrabaho kapag gusto mo yung ginagawa mo. So hintay lang (laughs),” he shared. (Push)
