CAPIZ – A motorcycle and tricycle collided in Barangay Parian, Sigma on Thursday, July 27, killing one and injuring five others.
Motorcycle driver Roy Isiderio Zaldivar, 31, of Barangay Balaring, Ivisan was declared “dead upon arrival” at the hospital. He was positively identified by his family the following day.
Those injured were tricycle driver Kevin Jem Buenavides, 21, of Barangay Calapawan, Panay,Capiz and his passengers Kim Buenavides Base, Isidro Buhat Bolante, Joemel Buhat Buaron, and Elyab Berano Base. They were treated by the Sigma Response Team.
According to the Sigma Municipal Police Station, Zaldivar was heading towards Barangay Parian from Ivisan town when it lost control and hit the sidecar of the approaching tricycle heading in the opposite direction./PN
