BACOLOD City – A man was killed while his live-in partner was wounded in a shooting incident in Purok Sigay, Barangay 2.
Police identified them as 29-year-old Rahnz Morre Banias, a resident of Barangay Banago, and 36-year-old resident Mary Liza Pahamutang.
According to police investigation, the couple was in their bedroom when attacked by an unidentified person around 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 16.
They sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Pahamutang was rushed to the Riverside Medical Center while Banias was brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital where he was declared “dead on arrival.”
Officers of Police Station 2 have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the killing./PN
