BACOLOD City – A man was killed and four others were injured in a road accident in Barangay Sampinit, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the fatality as 55-year-old Ricardo Detangco of Barangay Calumangan, Bago City. He died of injuries on the head and body.
According to police investigators, Detangco was navigating the road on a tricycle with his wife onboard when they hit the tricycle of 29-year-old Ryan Labrador around 5:50 p.m. on March 8.
Jejel Belegrio and Romer Morales were identified as the passengers of Labrador who were also injured in the incident.
All of them were rushed to the Bago City Hospital where the attending physician declared Ricardo “dead on arrival.”
Officers of the Bago City police station were still investigating the incident as of this writing./PN
