BACOLOD City – A man was killed and four others were injured in a road crash in Barangay Recreo, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the fatality as 65-year-old Camillo Canillas who sustained body injuries.
According to investigation, a Ford Ranger driven by Joel Vicente with Ronan Sherwin Sebal as passenger hit a Ford Focus driven by Melbert John Canillas with passengers Geli Canillas, Gillan Canillas and Camillo Canillas around 8:55 p.m. on Monday.
Camillo was brought to the Valladolid District Hospital where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival,” police said.
Melbert John, Geli, Gillan and Ronan sustained body injuries and were all brought to the Riverside Medical Center in Bacolod City for treatment./PN
