BACOLOD City – A man was shot fatally by an unidentified motorcycle-riding assassin in Barangay Sta. Rosa, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Leonardo Garcia Jr., 34, of Barangay Minoyan, Murcia died of multiple gunshot wounds, a police report showed.
He was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in this city but the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Police investigators said the shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 29.
Garcia together with his minor son was sitting outside his mother’s house when attacked, the investigators added.
Recovered from the crime scene were four spent bullets of a .45-caliber pistol.
As of this writing, the gunman remained unidentified. Investigation was ongoing./PN
