BACOLOD City – Ten persons were caught engaging in illegal gambling in Barangay Calumangan, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Recovered from them around 2:55 p.m. on Sept. 30 were playing cards, mahjong tiles and P910 bet money, a police report showed.
The suspects were Dina Garcia, Edelyn Sudayon, Rica Potestad, Shellene Gho, Fernando Montaño, Eduardo Pineda, Marilyn Peruelo, Helen Abalajon, Ruby Dela Peña, and Elena Ramos.
They were detained at the Bago City police station, facing charges./PN
