10-day extension of ban vs inbound travelers sought

ROXAS City – The city government asked the national Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases to extend for 10 more days the temporary suspension on the entry of inbound travelers.

It proposed the extension to be from April 20 to 30.

In asking for the extention, Mayor Ronnie Dadivas cited the increase in the cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) here since April 5.

“Kon wala kita obrahon nga immediate intervention, posible magsaka sa 311 ang aton positive cases,” said Dadivas

As of April 17, active cases in Roxas City were at 62 from 17 in April 5.

“Indi ta ini luyag matabo, gani kita nagatinguha nga magdihon sang mga tikang agud malikawan ini kag padayon nga maproteksyunan ang aton pumoluyo,” said Dadivas./PN
