ILOILO – Ten more towns may be placed under Alert Level 1, the least restrictive of the pandemic alert levels.
The following are close to vaccinating at least 70 percent of their target population against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19): San Rafael, New Lucena, Tubungan, Calinog, Cabatuan, Dingle, San Enrique, Pavia, San Joaquin, and Ajuy.
Here are their vaccination accomplishments as bared by the Iloilo Provincial Health Office:
* San Rafael – 10,515 individuals or 73.73 percent of its 14,263 target population
* New Lucena – 14,005 individuals or 69.86 percent of its 20,047 target population
* Tubungan – 13,478 individuals or 69.59 percent of its 19,368 target population
* Calinog – 36,128 individuals or 69.32 percent of its 52,116 target population
* Cabatuan – 33,804 individuals or 67.05 percent of its 50,418 target population
* Dingle – 2 6,393 individuals or 67.48 percent of its 39,111 target population
* San Enrique – 20,039 individuals or 68.50 percent of its 29,256 target population
* Pavia – 32,825 individuals or 68. 43 percent of its 29,256 target population
* San Joaquin – 30,362 individuals or 67.82 percent of its 44,768 target population
* Ajuy – 30,567 individuals or 67.79 percent of 45,093 target population
As for the whole province, 1,149,359 individuals or 68.80 percent are now fully vaccinated, as of April 9.
Its target population for vaccination is 1,670,578 individuals.
Iloilo province is under Alert Level 2.
Seven towns have so far been placed under Alert Level 1. These were Zarraga, Balasan, Lemery, Bingawan, Batad, Barotac Viejo, Concepcion, Banate, Barotac Nuevo, Guimbal, Mina, Dueñas, Santa Barbara, Pototan, San Dionsio, Anilao, and Janiuay.
These towns have met the amended metrics for de-escalation of alert levels:
* at least 70 percent of the target population have been fully vaccinated
* at least 70 percent of the target senior citizens population have been fully vaccinated
* the city or town must belong to a region or province with low-risk (less than 50 percent) total bed utilization rate/PN
