CAPIZ – The Capiz Provincial Government through its Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) granted a total of P55,000 in livelihood aid to 11 former illegal drug dependents from Dumarao town to assist them in their way to achieving a new life.
Gov. Fredenil Castro recently led the distribution of P5,000 worth of livelihood assistance to each beneficiary who completed the community-based drug rehabilitation program.
The governor, in his message, commended the former drug users for choosing the right path and leading a new life.
“Bisan sa gamay nga kantidad, ini ang pamaagi sang gobyerno probinsyal agud makabulig sa insakto nga dalanon nga pagasundon sang mga ini,” Gov. Castro added./PN
