ILOILO City – Eleven sachets of shabu were seized from three drug suspects arrested in Barangay San Antonio, Ajuy, Iloilo around 6:20 p.m. on July 23.
Now detained at the Ajuy police station jail were Aljun Alegre, 22, and Mark Eljen Tupas, 27, both of Barangay San Antonio; and Edred Azuelo, 19, of Barangay Dawis.
The suspects were captured in a buy-bust operation carried out by the combined forces of the Ajuy police station and Provincial Anti-illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force.
Also recovered from the suspects were the P520 marked money that an undercover policeman used to buy shabu, and drug paraphernalia./PN
