MANILA – Over a hundred bettors nearly guessed the right six-number combination to win the more than P1 billion 6/58 Ultra Lotto jackpot prize, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.
A total of 113 bettors guessed five of the winning combination 12-16-46-03-38-36 during the Tuesday night draw. At the time the jackpot was P1,026,264,340, the PCSO said in a statement released Wednesday.
They could have won by as much as P280,000 each but have to settle for P158,760 each. Prizes vary, depending on the total sales generated and the number of winners in the particular draw, the PCSO explained.
Meanwhile 7,594 bettors got four right numbers for the prize of P1,880 each while 188,427 guessed three numbers for P20 each – P4 cheaper than the P24 bet for the six-number combination.
Currently on record high, the jackpot prize is expected to increase further in the next draw Friday night.
Meanwhile a lone bettor in the 6/49 Super Lotto draw took home the P95 million jackpot after correctly picking the six-number combination 19-32-40-21-05-43 during the Tuesday night draw.
Under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion Law, a 20-percent tax will be deducted from the jackpot prize./PN
