ROXAS City – Heavy rainfall brought by Tropical Storm Kristine flooded 12 barangays in this city.
Data from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) yesterday showed that the following barangays remained inundated:
* Cogon (Sitio Sapa)
* Adlawan
* Jumaguicjic
* Bolo (Sitio Dulonan)
* San Jose
* Liong
* Cabugao
* Loctugan
* Baybay (Sitio San Roque)
* Dumolog (Sitio Proper)
* VII (Poblacion Rizal)
* Milibili (Sitio Arcabalo)
Majority of the flooded areas were rice fields, the CDRRMO said.
It added that as of this writing, several families were staying at the evacuation centers.
