BACOLOD City – Thirteen persons were arrested in Barangay Zone 6, Pulupandan, Negros Occidental.
Caught playing pusoy, pares-pares and tong-its around 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 27 were Jane Verde; Marlene Guangco; Jasmine Chua; Neonita Cusit; Milagros Badella; Gemana Tivis; Corazon Apostol; Jorich Pimentel; Karvin Albana; Bal Apostol; Julius Rio; Jeric Alcala; and Janelou Hermoso, a police report showed.
Recovered from their possession were three decks of playing cards and P477 bet money.
The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of the municipal police station./PN
