BACOLOD city – Thirteen persons were nabbed for illegal gambling in Barangay Crossing Pulupandan, Pulupandan, Negros Occidental.
Benbinido Sabio; Anthony Gallego; Roberto Abeniso; Viole Parenas; Patricio Pantela; Radney Peniga; Melanie Cosas; Marilyn Cosas; Pacita Alcaras; Minda Balinas; two male minors; and a female minor were caught playing tong-its and pusoy around 1:30 a.m. on June 23, a police report showed.
Recovered from their possession were four decks of playing cards and P900 bet money.
The 10 arrested suspects were taken to the Pulupandan municipal police station. The minors meanwhile were turned over to a local social welfare and development office./PN
