ILOILO – Fourteen police chiefs and two staff will be leaving the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPP0), Senior Supt. Cornelio Salinas, said.
According to the police provincial director, the16 police officers will be out for schooling for their promotion.
“Bisan daw mabudlay kay mga police chiefs sila, wala kita mahimo because there is a need for them to train,” he said.
The 14 are:
- Senior Insp. Raymund Celoso of San Miguel town
- Senior Insp. Aron Palomo of Pototan
- Senior Insp. Jojo Tabaluc of Miag-ao
- Senior Insp. Johnny Tumambing of Maasin
- Senior Insp. Aldren Lamera of Sara
- Senior Insp. Danny Lamera of Sara
- Senior Insp. Engilbert Banquillo of Cabatuan
- Senior Insp. Jonathan Pinuela of Dumangas
- Senior Insp. Norlan Perante of Guimbal
- Senior Insp. Cyril Octavio of Leganes
- Senior Insp. Terrence Paul Sta. Ana of San Dionisio
- Senior Insp Rodelon Betita of Carles
- Senior Insp. Gervinson Moyo of Balasan, and
- Senior Insp. Alejandro Apostol of Igbaras.
The two IPPO staff are Senior Insp. Elsa Cunlo of Finance and Senior Insp. Abner Jordan of the 1st Mobile Group.
While they’re out, their deputy police chiefs will take charge of their police stations, said Salinas.
“Wala nagakahulogan nga kun ma-relieve ang mga chiefs of police naton, mauntat kita operation. We still have to conduct operations against drug personalities, for example,” Salinas said./PN
