ANTIQUE – Pandan Mayor Tomas U. Estoperez, Jr. has advised the 1,456 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in their town to use the conditional cash grants properly.
On August 12, the Pandan local government unit through its Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), headed by municipal zoning bookkeeper Jeny T. Mallorca, distributed the cash grants at the town’s Liberman Sports Complex in Barangay Centro Norte.
The 4Ps provides conditional cash grants to the beneficiaries such as P6,000 a year or P500 per household for health and nutrition expenses, and P300 per month per child for educational expenses.
A maximum of three children per household is allowed.
Meanwhile, Estoperez was pleased and grateful to the government and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for helping his constituents who belonged to 4Ps by granting this cash assistance.
