ILOILO City – Facing 16 counts of rape, a 27-year-old man was arrested in Barangay 3 Poblacion, Igbaras, Iloilo.
JP Palencia of Barangay 2 Poblacion was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station.
The suspect was caught around 10 a.m. yesterday on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Nenita Jesusa Arboleda Bacaling of the Regional Trial Court Branch 72 in Guimbal, Iloilo.
Bacaling recommended no bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
