BACOLOD City – Seventeen persons were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 8.
Police identified them as George Lisaca; Raymond Sibornido; J-R Emeterio; TonTon Yap; Randy Caduhada; Jerry Catapang; Emmanuel Danchoon; Rico Anieve; Eduardo Denosta; Glenn Yap; Fermin Cumawas; Andrew Magbanua; Roberto Carasaquit ; Allan Cristales; Ian Bandoquillo; and Bernie Baldevia.
Twenty-one sachets of suspected shabu, P200 marked money and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the suspects.
Police Major Sherlock Gabana said they were caught in an abandoned building around 4:15 p.m. on May 29.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 7, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
