BACOLOD City – A 17-year-old lad tagged as a notorious akyat bahay thief was shot inside his house in Barangay Villamonte yesterday.
The victim, whom the police did not name, died of multiple gunshot wounds, a police report showed.
He was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital but the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
From what the Police Station 4 gathered so far, the victim’s neighbors heard burts of gunfire around 3:45 a.m. before cops discovered his lifeless body.
They were still trying to identify, as of this writing, who may have fired at the victim. They have yet to establish the motive as well./PN
