MOSCOW – Nineteen passengers died after a bus skidded off a bridge in Russia on Sunday and plunged into a river, the local government said.
“According to the updated information, 19 people died, 21 have various injuries,” it added.
Russia’s emergency ministry said the bus fell from a bridge into the Kuenga river around 0938 Moscow time (0638 GMT).
It added a driver and around 43 passengers were on the bus.
Police officers were investigating the incident.(Reuters)
