PREPARATIONS are in full swing for the staging of the 1st Capiz Grand Shopping and Travel Sale on December 26-31, 2023.
The entire province of Capiz is the site of the event and the People’s Park, Provincial Park, malls in Roxas City, various commercial establishments, professional services, tourism-related enterprises, and local government units are special venues.
By land, Capiz is three hours from Iloilo City, 4.5 hours from San Jose, Antique and two hours from Kalibo, Aklan. By sea and land, it is 3.5 hours from Guimaras and 4.5 hours from Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. By plane, it is one hour and 10 minutes from Manila.
Around 200 commercial establishments, tourism-related enterprises and local government units will participate in the grand sale as sellers.
Seller participants will offer from 20% to 50% discounts off regular prices of goods, facilities and professional services all throughout the province of Capiz.
The 1st Capiz Grand Shopping and Travel Sale is a partnership project of the Capiz Provincial Government headed by Gov. Fredenil H. Castro and MICE Alliance of Capiz (MAC) with Dr. Abundio Balgos at the helm.
MICE stands for Meetings, incentives, Conventions/Conferences and Events/Exhibitions.
