BACOLOD City – The “1st MassKara sa Panaad” will open this afternoon at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan.
The event, part of the city’s ongoing 43rd MassKara Festival, will run from Oct. 10 to 16 and is a collaboration of the city government of Bacolod and the provincial government of Negros Occidental.
All 31 local government units (LGU) in Negros Occidental, including Bacolod City, will join the event and showcase the best that they can offer such as delicacies, food products, handicrafts, culture, and lifestyle.
Daily from Oct. 11 to 16, each of the province’s six congressional districts will hold various cultural events.
All LGU pavilions at Panaad Park will open at 10 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.
Capitol group tours will also be offered twice a day, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. These will include a guided tour of the pavilions and a visit to the Balay Kalamay museum.
Staged every summer, the Panaad sa Negros Festival was last held in April 2019.
