SAN MIGUEL, Iloilo — Two former employees of a soft drink company fell into the hands of the police in a drug operation in Brgy. San Jose here.
The 22-year-old Joemar Jagonase and his friend, 30-year-old Nestor Villavecencio, both of Zone 2, Brgy. Ungka, Pavia town, were detained in the San Miguel police station.
They were arrested in a buy-bust operation at about 9:40 p.m. on Thursday.
Senior Insp. Raymond Celoso, police municipal chief, said the suspects had been under surveillance for a long time since they were not natives of San Miguel.
Celoso said the suspects were former employees of a soft drink company in Brgy. Ungka, Pavia.
Police recovered five sachets of shabu from Jagonesa, and drug paraphernalia and a knife from Villavecencio./PN
