BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu weighing about 50 grams was recovered in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mandalagan.
Antidrug authorities identified the suspects as Benjur Cawaling and Juan Carlos Labayen.
Cawaling and Labayen were caught after they allegedly sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer around 12:15 a.m. on Friday.
They were detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 3, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (With a report from PDEA Region 6/PN)
