ILOILO City – For mauling a man, two brothers were arrested in Barangay Sta. Cruz in the district of Arevalo.
The 44-year-old Jose Abellar of Barangay San Nicholas, Oton, Iloilo sustained bruises on the body, a police report showed.
The 35-year-old Recon Abitang and his 36-year-old brother Rene were nabbed at around 12:30 a.m. on Monday.
According to the police, Abellar was standing in front of a store when the Abitangs attacked him.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the mauling./PN
