ILOILO City – Police arrested two men for mauling a driver of a passenger jeepney in Barangay San Jose, Arevalo district.
Brothers Ian and Levy Silla were detained in the lockup cell of the Arevalo police station after they were nabbed around 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 19.
Ian and Levy – residents of Arevalo – were tagged in mauling Joel Maglaso.
Police said the Sillas – who were on board the victim’s jeepney – got irked after Maglaso told them to give another passenger a space to sit in.
This eventually led to the mauling, the officers added.
Maglaso sustained bruises on the body, police said./PN
