ILOILO City – Two men were clueless as to why they were mauled.
Nestor Parreño and Ricky Diogenes, residents of Barangay President Roxas, City Proper, sustained head and body injuries, a police report showed.
They were attacked in their village at around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Parreño and Diogenes were walking in their barangay when a group of people blocked their way and beat them up, the victims told the police. They tried to escape but their attackers chased them, they added.
Later the suspects boarded two vehicles, said the victims.
