ILOILO City – Two police officers and two civilians were injured in a road accident on Muelle Loney Street, City Proper.
Yesterday’s crash landed Patrolman Ralph Ivan Libuna, 24; Patrolman Javen Jimenez, 28; Richard Villaflores, 48; and Delly Galvez in a hospital in this city. They all received medical treatment.
According to the police report, the crash happened around 6:58 a.m.
The motorcycle that Libuna and Jimenez were riding hit the motorcycle driven by Galvez with his back rider Villaflores. It was not immediately clear what circumstances led to the incident.
Galvez was detained in lockup cell of Police Station 1, facing charges for reckless imprudence resulting to physical injuries./PN
