BACOLOD City – Two suspected drug peddlers were nabbed in a sting operation in Barangay 9.
Suspected shabu weighing about 16 grams valued around P128,000 was seized from 29-year-old Ma. Erica Talabon and 23-year-old Melchor Baybado, police said.
They were caught after they allegedly sold a sachet of suspected illegal drugs to an undercover cop for P500 around 10:20 p.m. on Feb.6.
The suspects were detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 2.
Charges for violation of the Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
