PONTEVEDRA, Capiz – Two drug suspects were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Tabuc here.
Rowel Apruebo and Venzlew Andrie Baduya, both 19 years old and residents of Barangay Dayao, Roxas City, were arrested on Wednesday by joint elements of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Pontevedra police.
The suspects yielded 10 sachets of suspected shabu, P500 buy-bust money, cell phone, and motorcycle.
Apruebo and Baduya are now detained in the lockup facility of the Pontevedra police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
