ILOILO City – Police arrested two farmers on Wednesday in Barangay Bungsuan, Dumarao, Capiz.
Rommel Padernal, 42, and Joeppy Guera, 50 – both of Barangay Tina, Dumarao – were charged with homicide with the use of unlicensed firearms, a police report showed.
Officers including elements from the Dumarao police station served them with a warrant of arrest at around 8:30 a.m.
Presiding Judge Esperanza Isabel E. Poco Deslate of the Regional Trial Court Branch 19 (Roxas City) issued the warrant on Nov. 7, 2006 yet.
The bail bond for the suspects’ temporary liberty has been set at P40,000 each.
The Dumarao police took the suspects in custody./PN
