BACOLOD City – Two persons, including a top drug suspect, were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 1, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Christopher Pacaña – tagged as the city’s No. 5 drug suspect – and Angel Gonzales were caught around 12:05 p.m. on Nov. 9.
Recovered from them were 15 sachets of alleged shabu worth P40,800, P1,000 marked money and other drug paraphernalia, a police report showed.
Pacaña was reportedly a member of the Virtucio drug gang, police said.
The suspects were detained at the San Carlos City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
