BACOLOD City – Two gun ban violators were arrested at a checkpoint in Crossing Payao, Barangay Bagroy, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
An improvised pistol loaded with five live bullets of a 12-gauge shotgun was recovered from the 21-year-old Rocky Sariana and 50-year-old Allan Sariana, a police report showed.
The Sarianas – whose relationship with each other was not immediately clear – were arrested on Tuesday.
The Barangay Lalagsan, La Castellana, Negros Occidental residents were detained in the Binalbagan police station lockup cell.
They were charged for violating the election gun ban./PN
