BACOLOD City – Two “high-value” drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Vista Alegre.
Police identified them as brothers Erwin and Elias Pepino.
Nine sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 10 grams valued at around P125,000 were confiscated from them, police said.
The Pepinos were nabbed after they allegedly sold illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P50 around 1 a.m. on Tuesday.
They were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 3, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
