BACOLOD City – Two persons were injured in a shooting incident in Barangay Crossing Magallon, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.
Fourty-eight-year-old Judy Buenafe sustained a gunshot wound on the stomach and 28-year-old Eljohn Mongcal sustained a gunshot wound on the right arm, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspects as Leomar Magbanua, Jimmy Magbanua and Jay-R dela Cruz.
According to investigation, Judy and Eljohn were on their way home when the suspects shot them using an unidentified gun around 9:45 p.m. on March 15.
Judy and Eljohn were brought to Isabela District Hospital in Isabela, Negros Occidental for medical treatment.
Leomar was detained in the Moises Padilla police station’s custodial facility, facing charges while Jimmy and Jay-R were still at large.
Municipal police officers have yet to identify the motive in the incident./PN
