ILOILO City – For illegal cockfighting, two residents of Barangay Calampitao, Igbaras, Iloilo was arrested.
They were Jemmy Eufan, 50, and Resty Ermoso, 18, a police report showed.
Eufan and Ermoso were caught around 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 5 when police chanced upon them.
Recovered from their possession were seven game fowls and P5,030 marked money.
Detained in the lockup cell of the Igbaras police station, the suspects face charges for violation of Presidential Decree 449, or the Cockfighting Law of 1974./PN
