ILOILO City – Two graduates from this city have earned top spots in the March 2025 Physicians Licensure Examination.
Krisha Marie Gan Badillo, a graduate of West Visayas State University, secured the fifth place with a rating of 86.50%.
Meanwhile, Klarence Razon Alovera of the Iloilo Doctors College of Medicine ranked 10th with a score of 85.50%.
This is not Badillo’s first achievement in licensure exams. She previously ranked first in the 2018 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination.
West Visayas State University’s College of Medicine also celebrated an 88.57% passing rate, with first-time takers achieving a perfect 100% pass rate.
Alovera, who graduated as part of the Class of 2023, Batch Magnus Servus Medici, also contributed to Iloilo Doctors College of Medicine’s success, with a passing rate of 76.92% for first-time takers. The college welcomed 31 new licensed physicians.

6. Angel Anne Dugaduga Ambayan – University of Cebu College of Medicine Found, Inc – Mandaue (86.42%)
7. Randon Jay Coloma Castro – University of the Philippines – Manila (86%)
8. Jan Patricio Emmanuel Calba Fernandez – Cebu Institute of Medicine (85.92%)
9. Hanna Grace Da-ang Pugong – University of the Philippines School of Health and Sciences – Leyte (85.67%)
10. Klarence Razon Alovera – Iloilo Doctors College of Medicine (85.50%) and Ina Desiree Lacno Mamauag – Our Lady of Fatima University – Valenzuela (85.50%)
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 1,901 out of 3,827 examinees passed the physicians licensure exam conducted by the Board of Medicine across various regions in the Philippines, including National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and others.
