ILOILO City – Two men were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Desampardos, Jaro district yesterday.
They were identified as residents Joegin Tabuyoc and Marino Guirjen, a police report showed.
Joegin and Guirjen were nabbed at around 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 8 after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P1,100.
Aside from the buy-bust item, three more sachets of suspected shabu were seized from the suspects.
They were detained in the lockup facility of the Jaro police station. They will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
