ILOILO City – Two women were arrested in an antidrug operation in Barangay Desamparados, Jaro district.

Cecile Siva, 47, and Sarah Jane Aladan, 25, were detained at the Jaro police station on Friday.

Around 8 p.m. they sold a sachet of shabu for P500 to an undercover police officer.

They yielded five more sachets when frisked.

Siva and Aladan, both residents of Barangay Desamparados, face a charge for illegal drug possession and peddling, acts prohibited by the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
