ILOILO – Two persons were killed when a motorcycle they were riding crashed against a bus in Miag-ao.
The 23-year-old Jude Ebot and 19-year-old Jan Candelon sustained fatal injuries on the body, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Candelon was driving a motorcycle with Ebot as back rider when a Ceres bus driven by Jully Credo of Antique crashed against them on Friday night.
A public utility jeepney driven by Ariel Fundales of Miag-ao also hit Ebot and Candelon, police said.
Ebot died on the spot, the police added.
Candelon, meanwhile, was brought to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district where he was declared “dead on arrival.”
Credo and Fundales were detained in the custodial facility of the Miag-ao municipal police station./PN
