BACOLOD City – Two men were killed in separate incidents in Valladolid town and San Carlos City.
The fatalities were Felimon Arisala, Jr., 48, of Purok Riverside, Barangay Doldol, Valladolid and Edgar Samantin, 50, of Sitio Brillantes, Barangay Rizal, San Carlos City.
Arisala was found dead outside his house by nephews on Friday morning, according to Chief Inspector Luisito Acebuche.
Arisal had stab wounds.
The night before, Arisala and suspect Joebert Yaman, a neighbor, were seen binge drinking.
As of press time, Yaman’s whereabouts remained unknown.
Policemen raided a relative’s house in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Murcia but Yaman was not there.
In San Carlos City, the suspect was identified as Warlito Caparida, 32, of Sitio Abulo, Barangay Prosperidad.
He allegedly struck Samantin’s head with a stone over a misunderstanding during a drinking spree.
The San Carlos City police will file a homicide case against Caparida in court tomorrow./PN
