ILOILO City – Two lending collectors lost P15,000 cash to two robbers in Barangay Buenavista, Lemery, Iloilo.
The victims were Arnel Cabrales, 21, and Eusebio Romero, 30, both residents of Barangay Mongpong, Roxas City, police said.
Tagged as suspects were resident Brando Sta. Ana, 28, and Jimuel Iwag, 29, of the town’s Barangay Agpipili.
According to police investigators, the incident happened around 12:57 p.m. on Feb. 4.
Cabrales and Romero were onboard a motorcycle when blocked by the suspects, who were also riding on a motorcycle, the investigators added.
The suspects took away their money and two cellular phones, police said.
The suspects turned themselves in to the Lemery police station. Charges will be filed against them./PN
